Distribution Files:

To distribute FtpTree ActiveX with your product, the following files are required. If you're using FtpTree ActiveX in a web page the only file you'll need is FtpTree.cab. However, if you're putting FtpTree ActiveX into another package (such as a stand-alone Visual Basic application) you'll need to distribute the following files:

  • MFC42.DLL
  • olepro32.dll
  • MSVCRT.DLL
  • FtpTree.ocx
  • ftpshext.dll
  • ssleay32.dll and libeay32.dll for SSL support

FtpTree.ocx and ftpshext.dll must be put through "REGSVR32.EXE" to make the required registry entries for the control. The DLLs and FtpTree.ocx must be placed in either the "C:\Windows\System" or "C:\WINNT\System32" directories.
