Using a Purchased Domain Name with DNS4Me
If you would like to use a domain name you've purchased from another domain registrar with DNS4Me, you must change the name servers of the domain in order for the DNS4Me service to handle DNS requests for your domain. Most name registrars allow you to update this information via a page on their web site, but you may have to call them to make this change. Your name servers must be:
  • ns1.DNS4Me.com
  • ns2.DNS4Me.com
The IP Addresses are:
  • 97.88.242.108
  • 67.37.101.145

Make sure that these are the ONLY name servers for your domain. If another name server is listed, there is the possibility that your domain will not resolve correctly.

This change can take up to 24-48 hours to propagate throughout the DNS hierarchy (on the Internet), but is usually a little faster. After your name servers point to these locations you can complete the DNS4Me purchase.
