The intent of this newsletter is to give you some pointers on our products. This newsletter highlights language and themes support in Serv-U.

Spanish Language Support In Serv-U

With the release of Serv-U 9.3.0.1, RhinoSoft.com is proud to announce the integration of Spanish language translations into the Serv-U File Server. Beginning with version 9.3.0.1, the Management Console, Serv-U installer, Serv-U Tray, and Web Client can all be accessed natively in Spanish just like any of our other 12 supported languages. This represents another fantastic step forward in making Serv-U the file server of choice for companies offering files to clients and offices around the globe.

During the Serv-U installation process, Spanish can be selected from the language selection screen to act as the default Management Console language. But as always it is easy to select from the Web Client list at any time, by any user regardless of the installed language. Serv-U will also auto-detect the operating system of each connecting client, so if the user connects using the Spanish localization of Windows, their language is automatically displayed on the login page.

Languages Supported in Serv-U and the Web Client

Each language is available to connecting users independent of the installed language or the language of the Windows. Any number of clients can be using any of the above languages at the same time all automatically with no intervention by Serv-U administrators.

Serv-U and Web Client Themes

Besides selecting languages to have Serv-U read and feel more like home there are also a few themes available that can help make Serv-U and the Serv-U Web Client look more like home as well. Windows Classic theme, for instance, is still a very popular look that a huge number of users prefer over some of the newer Windows themes since it is simple. You even have the option to have Serv-U or the Web Client look and feel more like a Mac with the Mac Aqua theme. The currently selectable themes in both the Serv-U Management Console and the Web Client are listed below.

Each theme is selectable at the lower right corner of the management console by clicking on the "Theme" button. To change your theme when using the Web Client you can select the Theme button at the log in page, or after logging in you can select the "Theme" button at the lower left hand corner of the Web Client.
