New Officer Appointments

(Helenville, Wisconsin) - RhinoSoft.com announced today that Mark P. Peterson, founder of Rhino Software, Inc., has been appointed President replacing Jane M. Peterson. Replacing Mark Peterson as Vice President is Douglas J. Papenthien. Jane M. Peterson will become the Chief Financial Officer of Rhino Software.

"On the heels of Rhino Software's 10th year in business, I feel it's the right time for me to take full control of the direction of the company," said Mark P. Peterson. "When I helped found this company 10 years ago, my focus was on creating reliable and powerful software to help computer users leverage the power of the Internet. While this tenet will remain at the foundation of this company's goals, my position as President also allows me to focus on new ideas that will guide this company in to the future."

Mark P. Peterson is the creator and lead developer of the award winning FTP client, FTP Voyager®. He also created the AllegroSurf® proxy server and Zaep AntiSpam. New Vice President Douglas J. Papenthien is the creator and lead developer of the DNS4Me dynamic DNS service. He is also the principle developer of Zaep AntiSpam.

FTP Voyager 13.0 Now Available

(Helenville, Wisconsin) - RhinoSoft.com announced today that a new major upgrade is available for the award-winning FTP client, FTP Voyager. The newest version introduces multiple languages in a single downloadable installation file. FTP Voyager 13.0 can be installed for English, German, French, Italian, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. In addition, many new features and enhancements are also included. With FTP Voyager 13.0, FTP Voyager SDK 13.0 has also been released. This version contains all of the changes made to FTP Voyager 13.0 in addition to other SDK specific changes.

Serv-U 6.3 Now Available

Serv-U 6.3, a maintenance release is now available. This version fixes some minor problems as well as increasing the maximum size of the user ID from 39 characters to 150 characters.

RhinoSoft.com Announces Serv-U 6.2 Release

(Helenville, Wisconsin)-RhinoSoft.com announced the release of Serv-U 6.2 today. Serv-U 6.2 is a minor feature release that increases Serv-U's usability in a variety of different environments. Serv-U is already regarded as one of the easiest Windows FTP servers to install and configure. The latest release of Serv-U sets a new level for ease-of-use in the FTP server market.

"One of the biggest requests we've received for Serv-U has originated from our resellers and customers located in Asia. In response to their requests, we're very proud to release Serv-U 6.2 with full support for the Asian character set," said Mark P. Peterson, Vice President of RhinoSoft.com.
